Foothills Art Club
The Foothills Art Club offers an opportunity to enhance your enjoyment and skills in art. Come and be a part of it!
The club meets from September to May on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada at the St. Andrew’s United Church MAP
If you want to know more about our club, please feel free to join us on a evening to meet members and to see what we are working on.

Foothills Art Club holds Fall and Spring Art Shows and Sales . All members are eligible to take part.
We have monthly scheduled ‘paint-outs’ at the Beaupre Hall, west of Cochrane MAP Outside ‘plein-air’ painting sessions are often held during the summer.
Weekend workshops are led by professional instructors. Once a month, we have a ‘theme night’ when member(s) will share a special technique or resource.
Also, a ‘critique night' for members to bring their work for suggestions or feedback.

The Foothills Art Club is proud to have received a generous grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
The Foothills Art Club has benefited from generous grant donations from the Town of Cochrane, Cochrane Foundation , Home Treasures and the Bow Rivers Edge Campgrount. As well, the patrons of the arts who come out every year to support our members are greatly appreciated.
"Fred's painting "Kananaskis", was chosen by our Club members to best represent the Show theme of "Life in the Foothills".
