Our Annual Fall Show and Sale was on Saturday   October 19 in the St. Andrew's Church Hall.   

The theme for our  Vision of Cochrane  was "Mountain Views".

Club members voted for  Gwen Stickel's painting of "Mount Rundle" , Visions of Cochrane -  Mountain Views.   Her painting  will be the door prize for our Fall Show & Sale  on October 19.        Congratulations Gwen.

Foothills Art Club

The  Foothills Art Club  offers an opportunity to enhance your enjoyment and skills in art.  Come and be a part of it!
The club meets from September to  May on the 1st and 3rd   Wednesdays   from  6:30 pm to 8:30  pm  at the Cochrane, Alberta, Canada in the St. Andrew’s United Church    MAP  ​
If you are thinking of joining our club, please feel free to come out on a evening to meet members and to see what we are working on. 
Foothills Art Club  holds Fall and Spring Art Shows and Sales  with all members being eligible to take part.  
​
We have monthly scheduled ‘open-studios’ or ‘paint-outs’ at the Beaupre Hall, west of Cochrane MAP       Outside ‘plein-air’ painting sessions are often held during the summer. 

​Weekend long workshops are led by professional instructors. Once a month, we have a ‘theme night’ when member(s) will share a special technique or resource. Also, a ‘critique corner’ night for members to bring their work for suggestions or feedback.     Visit our Education Page.​

The Foothills Art Club is grateful to have received a generous grant from the Treasures for Your Home Society (Home Treasures). These funds will help our club move forward as we build membership and plan for our 2023/24 season.

Over the years the Foothills Art Club has benefited from generous grant donations from the Town of Cochrane, Cochrane Foundation  and the  Bow Rivers Edge.  As well, the patrons of the arts who come out every year to support our members are greatly appreciated.
